At 8Bit Bloom, I want every project to feel collaborative, clear, and aligned with your expectations. This policy ensures transparency for both of us and protects the time, communication, and creative work that goes into each project.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project on my schedule.

Most projects follow a 50/50 payment structure (50% upfront, 50% at completion), unless a custom plan is arranged.

Work begins only after the initial deposit is received.
Because design work is customized and time-based, refunds are not issued for work that has already been started or delivered.
Refunds may be offered only in these situations:

If the project has not begun

If no design work, drafts, consultations, or project preparation has taken place

If the cancellation occurs within 48 hours of payment and no work has started
After work has begun—including brainstorming, sketches, drafts, communication, client setup, or file creation—no refunds are available.
If you choose to cancel a project after work has begun:

Your initial deposit remains non-refundable

You will be invoiced for:

Any completed design work
-
Hours spent on revisions
-
Project planning or research
-
File preparation
3. A cancellation fee may be applied depending on the scope and how far the project has progressed
This ensures compensation for the time that has been reserved for your project.
If feedback, content, or required materials are delayed by more than 14 days, your project may be placed on hold.
If there is no communication for 30 days, the project may be closed. To restart the project, a new deposit may be required.
This helps keep schedules fair for all clients.
My goal is for you to love your final design.
All projects include 2–3 rounds of revisions depending on the package.
If you wish to explore a completely different concept after drafts are delivered, this may be considered a new project and billed accordingly.

For any digital items (templates, downloads, PDFs, guides, etc.):

All digital product sales are final

No refunds are issued once the digital file has been delivered or accessed
Once final files are delivered and the project is closed:

All remaining balances must be paid before receiving editable files

Additional changes or edits will be billed as separate services
