Terms & Conditions

Scope of Work

All projects begin with a written proposal or agreement outlining the services provided, estimated timelines, inclusions, and overall cost. Additional requests or changes outside the initial scope may require a new invoice or an updated agreement.

Communication

Project communication occurs primarily through email or agreed-upon channels. I do my best to respond within 1–2 business days. Delays in communication from the client may impact deadlines.

Client Responsibilities

To keep the project on track, clients agree to provide:

  • Timely feedback

  • Required text, content, images, or login information

  • Approvals at key stages of the project

Failure to provide required content within the requested timeframe may result in project delays or a pause.

Ownership of Work

Final files are released after full payment is completed.

  • You receive full rights to your final delivered designs.

  • 8Bit Bloom retains the right to display completed work in my portfolio, social media, or promotional materials, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Unused concepts remain the intellectual property of 8Bit Bloom.

Revisions

Each project includes a set number of revisions, which will be listed in your proposal. Additional revisions outside the agreed amount may be billed at an hourly or fixed rate.

Timelines & Delays

Project timelines depend on client responsiveness.
If feedback or required materials are delayed by over 14 days, the project may be paused. If no communication occurs for 30 days, the project may be closed and a new deposit may be required to resume work.

Cancellation

Clients may cancel at any time. However:

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Work already completed must be paid for

  • A cancellation fee may apply depending on the stage of the project

If the project is canceled by 8Bit Bloom due to lack of communication or breach of terms, the same conditions apply.

File Delivery & Formats

Final deliverables will be sent via email, shared drive, or download link. Editable design files (such as AI or PSD) may be included depending on the package or quoted separately.

Limitation of Liability

8Bit Bloom is not responsible for:

  • Losses or damages from misuse of final files

  • Errors in content provided by the client

  • Issues related to third-party services (e.g., printing, website hosting, email providers)

Acceptance of Terms

​By working with 8Bit Bloom, submitting payment, or approving a proposal, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
